Chemistry Deodorant

After using a natural deodorant which was discontinued, I did some research and Kosas came up in the blogs. I had never tried a liquid or gel version of natural deodorant and didn’t know what to expect. However, Kosas really did deliver and this stuff is amazing. My darker underarms lightened, little to no razor bumps, and one application lasted me throughout working hours. Towards the end of my first bottle I wasn’t sure how well it was still working but I could be at fault as it was a few months beyond the 12 month “good till” recommendation.

At this point I decided to venture and try the Salt & Stone brand with their heavy marketing. While I did like their scent options, I had to keep reapplying their deodorant throughout the day and my dark underarms and razor bumps came back. What is worse, is my body started sweating even more, similar to the detox period when one comes off regular deodorant to natural which I felt really odd considering it WAS a natural brand. So now I have come back to Kosas and couldn’t happier. I will just make sure to watch the expiration date, but one bottle really does last me at least a year.

I’ve tried both scents and probably prefer the Serene Clean with the calming Vetiver and Ylang Ylang qualities vs the Beachy had maybe just a hint too much vanilla for me.
